About RedRose
Kirkham's independent carpet and flooring shop
A real shop on Poulton Street, run by people who live and work locally, with our own fitters and over 35 years of experience.
Our story
Local, independent and proud of every fit
RedRose Carpets is an independent flooring shop at 67 Poulton Street, right in the centre of Kirkham. The business is run by Simon and Alison Baker, and the team brings more than 35 years of carpet and flooring experience to every job.
We have always believed that a carpet shop lives or dies on its fitting. You can sell the finest carpet in Lancashire, but if it is fitted badly it will look wrong and wear out early. That is why we use our own fitters, never subcontractors, and why we still measure every job ourselves.
Over the years we have grown from carpets into vinyl, LVT and laminate flooring, and now beds and mattresses too. What has not changed is the way we work: honest advice, fair prices, a fixed quote and a team who will still be here next year.
What we stand for
- Straight talking advice. If a cheaper carpet will do the job, we will tell you. If a floor is wrong for the room, we will tell you that too.
- Our own fitters. The people in your home work for RedRose and care about our name.
- No surprises. Free measure, fixed quote, and the old floor taken away.
- Local first. We live here, shop here and see our customers in the street.
