RedRose Carpets now sells beds and mattresses from its showroom at 67 Poulton Street, Kirkham, including divan beds, ottoman storage beds, wooden and upholstered bed frames and mattresses from soft to firm. The shop is about nine miles from Preston and ten from Blackpool, and you can try every mattress before you buy.
It made sense. People refreshing a bedroom from the floor up often want a new bed too. Now you can choose your carpet and your bed in one visit, see them together and get honest advice from people who live round the corner.

Bed and mattress questions
Can I try a mattress before I buy?
Yes. Come into the showroom on Poulton Street and lie on them properly. Take your time, it is the only way to know what feels right.
Which mattress tension should I choose?
As a general rule, side sleepers tend to suit a softer to medium feel so shoulders and hips can sink in, while back and front sleepers often prefer medium to firm. Body weight matters too. We will help you find the right one.
Do you deliver beds?
Ask us in store about delivery to your home and we will arrange the details when you order.
What size bed will fit my room?
As a rough guide, leave around 60 to 70cm of walking space around the sides and foot of the bed. Our UK bed and mattress size guide has all the measurements.
