The finishing touch for a hard floor

Plenty of our customers choose a practical hard floor for the lounge, kitchen or hall and then want something softer underfoot by the sofa or the bed. Choosing your floor and your rug in the same shop means you can see the colours together before you buy.

Where a rug works best

• Lounges. Under the coffee table and the front legs of the sofa, so the seating feels like one space.
• Bedrooms. Either side of the bed or across the foot of it, so the first step in the morning is a soft one.
• Hallways. A long, narrow rug catches the worst of the dirt from the front door and protects the floor beneath.
• Dining rooms. Big enough that the chairs stay on the rug when they are pulled out from the table.
